seriously, is there internet after death

Ten depressing and fun! facts about me:

1. My mom used to leash me up like a wild animal when we went out in public. To this day mom still thinks I'll get kidnapped/raped. Good thing I didn't mind being tied to her like a dog due to the Mickey Mouse designs.
2. I was totally deprived as a child. I couldn't play in the front yard because it wasn't fenced in. One time my friend came over to rollerblade on the street but my mom wouldn't allow it so we went in circles in my garage and my friend gave me dirty looks the whole time. As we circled.
3. I did not grow up with ice cubes in the freezer or juices in the fridge. Just room temperature water and milk. Milk has to be mircrowaved for ten seconds before consumption. Especially in the morning.
4. I was on the front page of Vancouver Sun in grade 4. Sitting cross-legged on the floor wearing a skirt. With my white panties showing.
5. I used to bite my nails until I graduated from highschool. I tried everything. Wore rubber bands on my wrists and punished myself by flicking it. Didn't work. Imagined my fingers as my dog's penis. Didn't work.
6. Super hairy arms. No joke.
7. An exbf landed on me once. It was fun. Until I totally farted.
8. This is not a fact. Why do people say "RIP person x" on their MSN names or Facebook statuses? Is there internet in the afterlife/heaven? 'Cause that would be really cool.
9. I used to have a mole dead front center of my nose. I had it surgically cut and scooped out in grade 9.
10. Makes me laugh out loud. Every. Single. Time.

If you can relate to me in ANY of the above in the slightest bit please holler. I'd love to know (that I'm not alone).
I'm all alone, aren't I...

  1. My childhood was so free it wasn't even funny.. I was walking to school since Kindergarten and my sister and I were free to roam wherever we want in the neighborhood ... it's a good thing but not really because when we moved to Vancouver that meant we had to walk to school every single day even in the rain (and it was pretty far when we moved to Vancouver), pack our own lunches, etc.

  2. First of all: great outfit! I think my mother would have liked to leash me up, because I had the habit to run away, out of the blue. I also can relate to the hairy arms, which is why I shave them. But I don't think our arms are too hairy, we just happen have brown hair and you notice that a lot easier than if you would be a blonde...

    I relate to you because...
-I too had a mole removed..not by scooping action tho. By carefully cutting it out with precise margins because it was thought to be cancerous. It isn't..and was a FREEE procedure! FREEEE!
-An exbf hugged me so tight i farted. When he asked me if i did, i said, "NOO!" sooo defensively. How dare he think I do such a thing?!

You forgot the time we rode our bikes to collingwood and your mom got mad at you for riding a bike on the streets and then came to pick you up and left me with two bikes. This was in grade 9.

  12. LOL @Serena!
Hahaha 2 bikes? How did you get home?

As for me, I wasn't leashed up but my mom was just as strict and I, too, was not allowed anywhere beyond my yard and also had to rollerblade in circles on my porch.

Oh yeah. And the clothes are good.

  14. You're such a cutie. :) Lovely look.. and those shoes are awesome! Wish we had Zara in Hawaii.

Thinking back, I thought my parents were strict, but I had it pretty easy. My mom loved having my friends over and she encouraged me to have sleep overs too... all little girl love sleep overs. :) In highschool my curfew was pretty late considering I was under 18!.. My senior year I had a 12am curfew on the weekends and 10pm on school nights. That's crazy! I don't know if I'll be that easy on my future children. hee hee. Anyhoo... I think I turned out perfectly fine..... it's good to give kids a little bit of freedom.. but I think it definitely needs to be earned. :)... ok, I rambled enough!

Hope you're having a fab Thursday!! HUGS from Maui!

    xx Love & Aloha

  15. Hahaha. You're hilarious. Laughed out loud reading your list and even read a few to my bf. Love those Zara wedges and the top! Saw the top at H&M but wasn't sure how to wear it without it looking skanky. You styled it really well-- it looks sweet but not too sweet!
